This component utilizes a sophisticated "push-push" mechanism, ensuring the media is securely locked during operation and easily ejected with a soft press. As a premium memory card socket, it is constructed with high-temperature thermoplastics to withstand SMT reflow soldering. The interface ensures high-speed data transmission through precision gold-plated contacts. While engineers often search for a sim connector or sim socket for communication, this device is specifically engineered for TransFlash storage expansion. Its robust metal shell provides EMI shielding and structural reinforcement. The unit includes an integrated card detection switch, allowing the host processor to manage power states efficiently when media is inserted or removed.

Push-Push Ejection: The connector features an internal cam track and spring system where pushing the card in locks it effectively and a second push releases the latch to eject the card.
Electrical Engagement: As the card slides into the housing the flexible gold-plated contact beams wipe against the card pads to remove oxidation and establish a secure data path.
Presence Detection: A mechanical card detect switch located at the side is physically depressed by the inserted card sending a signal to the MCU to initialize the driver.
