Push-Push Ejection: The connector features an internal cam track and spring system where pushing the card in locks it effectively and a second push releases the latch to eject the card.

Presence Detection: A mechanical card detect switch located at the side is physically depressed by the inserted card sending a signal to the MCU to initialize the driver.
